I promise you: No PhotoShop was used in the creation of the above image. That's our thermometer. On our balcony. In the shade. At least this ridiculous heat is abnormal enough to make national news.
We have an air conditioner, but it can barely keep up, so we made another beat-the-heat excursion, this time to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. There are dinosaurs in the background of the photo below. The museum is actually quite nice, and is probably another of Los Angeles' underrated attractions, but its most memorable feature today was the cold blast of air which greeted us as we came in from the parking lot. Well worth the price of admission.
