Huntington Gardens

The Huntington Library and Gardens have been hosting a series of evenings celebrating the world's deserts. Tonight's event was in honor of the Sonoran Desert of Mexico, which meant the entrees served were carne asada and camarones al Guadalajara. Yum. Tessie didn't get any of that, though. She did enjoy some corn tortilla, however.

A hot day in Pasadena led us to seek relief by the ocean, and so we drove to Long Beach. Tessie enjoyed the Aquarium of the Pacific, and then we all enjoyed dinner at Joe's Crab Shack.
